“… รุกขมูลเสนาสนัง เมื่อบวชแล้วท่านจงไปอยู่ในป่า ในเขา ในถ้ำ ในหุบ ในเหว ป่าช้ารกชัฏบ้านร้างเรือนว่าง เพื่ออาศัยสถานที่อันสงบสงัดนั้นทำที่สุดแห่งทุกข์เถิด..”

“…Rukkhamulasenasana Having been ordained, a bhikkhu shoued dwell in a Forest, on the mountain, in the cave, in the valley, in the abyss, in the graveyard, in a wilderness or in a deserted house in order to stay in such a quiet place so as to make the end of suffering…”

“… Pana or Atthapana belongs to a beverage consisting of fruit juice, cane juice, sugar, aerated water or soft drink and honey,these l drink only for relieving my exhaustion , but not for the purpose of deliciousness…’’

“…ธรรมะแห่งการอยู่ร่วม… สถานที่ใดแม้จะด้อยคุณค่าแต่ถ้ามีคนที่มีคุณภาพเข้าไปอยู่ สถานที่นั้นก็จะต้องมีคุณค่าคุณภาพตามไปด้วย ในทางกลับกันต่อให้สถานที่มีคุณภาพขนาดไหนหากมีคนที่ด้อยคุณภาพเข้าไปอยู่ ไม่นานสถานที่แห่งนั้นย่อมจะต้องด้อยคุณค่าคุณภาพตามไปด้วย….”

“…Dhamma of living together— A place which is inferior in its quality, but if one who is superior in quality lives in it, increases in its quality, but if one who is inferior in quality lives in it, decreases in its quality in the end!…”

“…กาสาวะ = น้ำฝาด, พัสตร์ = ผ้า, กาสาวพัสตร์ = ผ้าย้อมน้ำฝาด …ผ้านี้เรานุ่งห่มเพียงเพื่อป้องกันความอุจจาด ป้องกันความร้อน ความหนาว ป้องกันเหลือบ ยุง ริ้นไร เท่านั้น หาได้ต้องการอวดอ้างความร่ำรวยหรูหราไม่…จีวร = ผ้าห่ม, สบง = ผ้านุ่ง, สังฆาฏิ= ผ้าห่มซ้อนกันหนาว…”

“…The yellow robe or cloth dyed with astringent decoction. I am wearing this yellow robe only for protecting myself from obsene, heat, cold, a gadfly, a mosquito and gnat, but not for richness or luxury…”

“…เสนาสนะนี้มีไว้เพียงเพื่อพักผ่อนบรรเทาธาตุขันธ์เท่านั้น…มิได้มีไว้เพื่อความหรูหราโอ่อ่า..หรืออวดอ้าง..กุฏิ…”

“…Right Action ,Right Effort and Right mindfulness — These are monks’religious duty, i.e. the duty to get rid of all defilements from their own mindo,monk is performing his religious duty, i.e. to walk towards and back…”

“…สัมมาสมาธิ…สมาธิ ต้องรู้สมาธิ…ผู้ไม่มีปัญญาย่อมไม่รู้จักสมาธิ…ผู้ไม่มีสมาธิก็ย่อมไม่มีปัญญา…”

“…Right Concentration —- A monk is practicing medtation. He who prastices meditation is to know how to practise it. He who lacks wisdom does not understand concentration and he who lacks concentration lacks wisdom…”
