\u201cBuddhism\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSasana’\u201d, which belongs to the Pa’li term, means \u201cteaching\u201d or \u201cmessage\u201d. \u2018Buddha\u2019 refers to \u2018 one who has learned, who has woken, and who has been exuberant or joyful\u2019. In short, Buddhism means the teaching of \u201cone who has learned, of one who has woken and of one who has been exuberant\u201d. What do you know? What you know is the reality of all things about the fact that nothing is permanent. \u201cWhere there is birth, there is death\u201d. \u2018One who has woken\u2019 is one who has stopped delusion in the attachment and adherence to all things. Then he who has no delusion becomes ever joyful. He tries to teach people to \u201cknow after him\u201d, to \u201cwake after him\u201d so that they may be \u201cjoyful after him\u201d. What is taught by one who has learned, who has woken and who has been joyful refers to \u201cSa’sana’\u201d or religion, whereas \u201cone who knows\u201d is called the teacher or \u201cSa’sada’\u201d.<\/p>\n
